Juršići is a settlement located near the Istrian medieval town of Savičenta and is one of twenty settlements in the area. Although Juršići is a small place, it has an interesting history. It was one of the first places in Istria where education took place in the Croatian language.
Today, here we find two churches dating from the 16th and 19th centuries, and a former Carmelite monastery that has been converted into a restoration workshop for paintings and wooden statues. The surroundings have taverns with delicious food and drinks, and the whole southwestern Istria is a place of great wine and olive oil. Nearby towns such as Pula, Fažana, Rovinj, etc. offer various sightseeing, natural, cultural and sports attractions, as well as large beaches.
