Primošten is a gorgeous little town in the Šibenik-Knin County, it was once an island, but today is a peninsula which is connected to the mainland with a causeway. Despite being a smaller town in Croatia, Primošten is extremely popular with tourists due to its rich historic and cultural heritage and breathtaking nature. Therefore, take a walk along the Street of St. George, the main street of Primošten, which leads to a hilltop where The Church of St. George is locate at, whose beautiful painted ceiling will leave you amazed.
Primošten is famous for its huge and beautiful vineyards. Apart from its vineyards, Primošten is also known for the traditional donkey race that takes place there every summer. The largest beach in Primošten is called Raduča, and its smaller part, Mala Raduča, is voted one of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Croatia. The area's vineyards are currently under consideration to become a UNESCO World Heritage.The view of the Babić vines in their stone cells on the nearby slopes is a special experience and testimony to how man's hand can enrich and fertilize even the harshest landscape.
